Ex warring social media through YouTube

I was born in 1997, so I grew up with the Internet and all the social media apps. I remember the first time I used the social media app, and it was YouTube. I remember watching a lot of clips and funny skits on YouTube; it helped expand my worldview of people sharing content all over the world. It also helped me build a community of people with the same interests as me. I grew up watching influencers expand their social media platforms beyond YouTube, including Snapchat, Instagram, and TikTok. I also remembered that YouTube had long ads where there was no skip button. The ads would be one minute long. And now YouTube has evolved where you can get a subscription to block out the ads. YouTube also has a section where you can buy and rent TV shows and many movies. I grew up with influencers who started their platform on YouTube. For example, I have watched an Animation YouTube influencer called SWooie. A YouTube animator is a YouTuber who animates in blogs about their stories through animations and storytelling. One of his first videos was about him being a cast member at Walt Disney World Resort. I remember watching that video and laughing so hard because the animation was a bunch of stick figures, but now, since his platform has grown, his animation style has improved. On YouTube, there are a lot of animation YouTubers with their own stories and experiences that they share with their followers and also promote company Products or family-owned businesses. YouTube influencers also have their own convention called Vicon, where you can meet influencers, get an autograph, and have a Q&A. As of right now, I do not have a subscription to block the ads, but now I can wait probably 30 seconds, and then I can skip the ad. The algorithm you choose will show me ads that I am interested in. For example, if I watch a makeup tutorial, the ad will show me makeup products. Depending on the brand of makeup products, I will watch the ad to see if there are any sales or discounts. I can also watch makeup influencers promoting products of major corporations or their own makeup brand. YouTube marketing has involved, through the years, having its own algorithm for each person and their interest. And depending on the brand or YouTube influencers, people will watch the ads, and so will I.
